Glad Tidings Ministries( AKA Glad Tidings Evangelistic Association and Glad Tidings To All nations Ministries), founded in 1999, was born out of hearts of compassion and a deep desire to respond to the desperate needs facing the people in Africa especially the impoverished Ogoni tribe in the Southern/Delta Region of Nigeria, West Africa.
Glad Tidings Ministries is a registered 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization also known as Glad Tidings Evangelistic Association Inc. #93-1285875

Our PurposeTo reach the people in Africa for the Lord by ministering to the needs of their body, soul and spirit.
To provide a new approach to ministry in developing countries through business ventures capable of sustaining local ministry needs without continuous dependence on foreign aid and support. |
To provide a source of financial support for evangelism, church planting and ministry activities of Glad Tidings in Nigeria and Africa in general through ventures capable of improving the livelihood of the people in our areas of ministry.
To provide training and opportunities in areas of missionary work, animal husbandry, poultry and agronomy, thereby meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the communities where we serve and share the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is a holistic approach to ministry which has been lacking in many missionary works in Africa in the past.
To promote fish farming and other agri-food initiatives as viable rural-based industries which will economically empower the communities where we serve.
To provide high quality nutritious foods and clean water supply to the communities being reached through Glad Tidings Ministries. The production and availability of fish, fish products, poultry, swine and goats, as well as bakery products at the Glad Tidings Farms will enhance the health and quality of life of people in the areas of ministry.
To provide clean water supply through bore-hole wells for the villages. This will help to abate some of the waterborne diseases that are prevalent in Nigeria in particular and Africa as a whole.
The people of the Rivers State of Nigeria are traditionally fishermen and farmers. As a result of the environmental degradation of the soil, air and water in the region, the traditional fishing areas have been decimated resulting in economic strangulation and malnutrition. The fish farming projects will introduce aquaculture as an alternative to dependency on external sources.
